A few things

I just wonder if this is good or bad luck.  A black cat I never saw before was at my house a few days before Halloween.  Hmmm just a thought.  It was a sweet black cat though.

Don't you just love it when you have a thought for something you want to add to your wardrobe and aren't even sure it exists and you look and find something sorta like it but it's waaayyyy too expensive and not exactly what you wanted?   Then you find it and it's perfect and waaayyyy inexpensive.  I love that!

For anyone who has suffered with some ailments lately.  I am so sorry.  I feel like I have been fighting one thing or another for more than a couple months.  It stinks, especially when you are suppose to run a 5K with your grandson for his birthday in a couple weeks and you haven't been well enough to train.  Here's hoping my 6 year old grandson doesn't make Grammy look bad.

Does anyone else wonder what happened to this year.  Just saying.  It's November people!!

My husband started a new job this week after 20 years!  Now that is a big change for us.  I hope this old lady can adapt to the schedule and life change.  I am so proud of Tom Burger and so happy God has blessed him with this wonderful opportunity.  Bring on the change!

On another note total opposite of change...  Have any of you routine people ever noticed the routine in others?  I noticed a few weeks ago how my morning route to work which is only about 2 miles is so routine for many.  The same 2 men standing in one of their yards talking, who wave to me.  The same kid walking on the sidewalk to school. ( I notice because last year he rode bike but this year he must be too cool for it, he walks.  (At least I think it's a he.) yikes  He's got really big looking white and black hair.  The same lady standing in her driveway watching her preteen at the bus stop while the girl pretends her mom isn't watching her.  There is something nice about routine.

Ok, so I never got to go trick or treating with my Stover kids before.  Let me say, I had so much fun watching how much fun they had.  Olivia had the most original costume that got so many compliments.  I loved all the homemade costumes. Good job Sheila.  It was such a fun night. It's the little things, right?
