Family's together

There is nothing better than family time together.  We had that this past weekend.  Our daughter Sheila and her family are back in America for a few months.  We hadn't had them to our home for over 2 years.  Those grandkids stole my heart again.  They were a little jet-lagged but for the most part everyone did very well.  The first night in USA the kids didn't get up until after 5 am which is pretty good when you are adjusting 7 hours time difference.  We played, we ate and played games.  The kids ran, kicked balls and rode on bikes and swings. The kids especially the boys loved riding in Uncle James' truck.   We made s'mores, ate gummy worms and fruit, lots of fruit.  Tom made some killer meals.
Emily and Taylor came from Beaufort for the weekend also. Gideon who's 2&3/4 was totally in love with having his cousins back.  He played so hard and well with them.  It was just so cute to see him doing everything they did. And they were so kind and loving to him.   Even Nolan who's 6 months was enthralled with his big cousins showing him attention and making lots of noise.
The Stovers, Burgers, McGinns, and Burgess' waiting for Stover family.

Sheila catching up with Gideon and his cuteness.
Andrew loving on his new nephew Nolan.

Jack with his bike.

When I cleaned out my attic this spring it was mainly because my granddaughter said she was going to be brave enough to go in the attic.  This was my vision for her and it came true. Olivia had fun going through her mom and aunts old things that I had saved for her. By the way she looks just like her mom did in this photo.

On a different note I got my T-shirt blanket done.  But I didn't do it myself.  Sorry to disappoint those of you who thought I might be able to.  I really was going to try but in the end I got a great deal with Project Repat. They were quick, inexpensive and I thought they did a nice job.  I'm glad that is behind me and my t-shirts were saved and useful for sunggling.
