Feeling loved

So far this year has been so strange.  You may have read in my last blog about Tom being diagnosed with Neuphrotic Syndrome.  We are still in the throws of all that.  Ups and Downs and everything in between.  In spite of all the unknowns, Tom and I are feeling loved.  The calls, texts, emails, gifts and mostly prayers have been a wonderful blessing.  Isn't that the way the body of Christ is suppose to operate anyway?  Each of us are put where we are to reach out and bless others.

I had a birthday again.  I have them every year and I just love birthdays.  My family and friends are always amazing me with thoughtfulness.  I got some really sweet gifts. Had good food and fellowship. Tom had this table ready for me when I got up Saturday. Cinnamon Crunch Bagels, flowers and gifts. He knows me.

Tom took me on a beautiful hike since it was a beautiful day here. The trails look so different in the winter. Tom knows what I love and the time with him was special, especially when I know it takes everything out of him to hike.
We went to one of my favorite restaurants for dinner, Cajun Queen with excellent food and family to spend it with.

A fun birthday lunch for work at Open Kitchen and the dessert.... AMAZING!

Then wonderfully thoughtful gifts. My family knows me and loves me well.

I think my new phone case says it all.
