Questions and then some

Just a few things to end out 2015 which went so fast.

First of all I had an enjoyable Christmas but did anyone else in the south have a hard time with the over the top hot weather?  I like those temps but not for Christmas.  I have been sweating for a couple weeks.  Sheesh

Has anyone ever bought underwear and were sorry you did?  Target, your special deal on underwear a few months back was not the deal I thought.  #ridingup

I like a new year.  It feels like a chance to start clean and new.  Anyone else like a chance to start a fresh?  I'm really hoping for a great healthy year for everyone in my family.

Why does coffee make life so much more manageable?  I understand the caffeine thing and all but there is something about that warm hug of java in the morning. mmmm

I really enjoy baking my own cookies and breads.  Something about being in the kitchen and creating a wonderful smelling sweet treat is so homey feeling.  I baked banana bread today and tomorrow I will enjoy it with coffee. Plus I know my hubby loves it so much. This ones for you Tom.

I have a close friend who was in the hospital twice over the Christmas holiday.  I don't know of anything worse than not being at home for Christmas.  I do not like it when friends of mine are struggling with anything, especially sickness.

I really am missing my mom.  Sometimes my mind remembers things she would say and I can see her sweet face smiling and mom making me laugh.  She had a great sense of humor. Sometimes I just wish I could see her again and get a big hug from my MOM.  Does the missing ever go away?

I really love putting away Christmas decorations.  It's a big job but I love organizing the decorations and cleaning my house.  It is my favorite thing to have my house all back to normal and a little cleaner and neater than the Christmas holiday.  Are you as anal as me about that?  I also want to get rid of things but since I did a big cleanse this spring there's not much left to chuck.
Happy 2016 everyone.  Be safe.
