Anniversary 34!

I love travel and adventure.  Thank the good Lord  he gave me a husband that shares my interest in travel too. We recently celebrated our anniversary and went to Tybee Island GA.  We kinda stumbled upon Tybee as we were thinking of Savannah for our trip and every place to stay was quite expensive.  Tom researched and Tybee was not far from Savannah, and more affordable.  The bed and breakfast was so nice and the rest is history.  We had only done one other B&B before and loved it so we thought we'd try it again. Success! It was a terrific place and the quiet was palpable.  The time was so relaxing, so perfect for us.  The beach, restaurants and the lighthouse within walking distance.  The breeze so sweet and the ocean only a look away.  The food was AMAZING all weekend! We enjoyed cake, cookies and tea on the porch in the evening. For me that is the best. Tom had sweet surprises for me along the way. It was a win win.
We also combined our little getaway with seeing Emily,Taylor and our two youngest grandkids that live in Beaufort, SC.  What a very nice time.  It's those little trips that seem to be the most relaxing and fun.
