The miracle of birth

Lots of stuff happened in the past few weeks.  I am a Grammy again and had the privilege of watching Nolan Levi come into the world.  He is perfect! The birth of this grandson again reminded me of the miracle of birth.  It is so amazing.  When I was going through labor and delivery with my girls, I realized the miracle after the fact but during it I was a little preoccupied. I have had the joy of being a part of every grandchilds' birth except my sweet Jackson.  Every child is a miracle.  You and I are a miracle and we are loved by God
. 
Tom and I now have 4 grandsons and 1 amazing granddaughter who came first.  I think it is pretty funny that with 3 girls of our own and no sons, we now are outnumbered by boys.  We are hoping that we will be meeting our adopted granddaughter before too long. And that will even us out a little more. But girls or boys we love them all and are so thankful for healthy grand children. 
Tom has been feeling pretty well and was able to take care of Gideon all day while Nolan was being born.   As any of you who have watched a 2 year old or have one know, that is not an easy task when you're totally healthy.  It was a great week that we shared with our Emily, Taylor, Gideon and Nolan. So glad to be a family.

 I do believe our wonderful springtime is upon us.  We had a few days close to 80 in Beaufort  last week and 70's in Charlotte the past few weeks.  I LOVE SPRING!
