A little of this and that

So many things rattling inside my head.  I better get them out of there to make room for some important stuff like the names and birth dates of my family.

Tom and I got back from our mission trip to Ecuador a week ago already.  I have been wanting to post about the trip but am still sorting through my thoughts, not to mention trying to catch up things back here in my real life.  Look for that post soon.  

Have I mentioned that my cat Titus has been sick for quite a while with vomiting.  (yah, no fun) I had him to the vet several times but this time I got a good vet and he did some more testing on him.  I think we are on the right track now.  Anyhow, no throw up for 2 days.  (happy dance)

I got a hair cut today, I love the feeling of a fresh cut.  And I love how my hair looks so bouncy after my hair stylist gets done with me....but it doesn't last.  I just don't have the touch like her. "Brandy, please come live with me and do my hair every morning"

October was such a crazy month, especially on Saturdays....... I ran a half marathon, I volunteered at Tom's prison for the One Day with God ministry for inmates and their families.  Tom and I went on a 9 day mission trip to Ecuador.  So today Tom and I slept in ( if you can call it that) 7:15 it felt good, but we did sooooo much around the house and yard that we hadn't gotten done in a month, that you can hardly call it a day off.  I am tired tonight but it's a good feeling.  My house is clean, the patio furniture cleaned and stored for the winter, leaves raked, plants moved, shopping started for Christmas, yep, I am spent but happy.

I don't like when it gets dark so early, seriously I sometimes put on my pj's at 6:30 because I feel like I should be going to bed soon.  

Tom's football team, the Buffalo Bills are actually winning some games this year.  I hope they keep it up.  It makes him so happy. 

I am really starting to drink a lot of hot tea in the evenings.  It warms my body and my heart.  

I have only run twice since my race.  It took me a week to even want to think about running.  I miss it and am thinking I will start running soon.  Except it gets dark too early, so it will have to be on the weekends.  I must be a runner.  I think I am a runner.  I AM A RUNNER. :)

I am wanting to hike Crowders Mountain soon, can't seem to get there.  I think today would have been perfect.  

I really miss my grandkids.  Olivia, Hudson, Jackson and Gideon, Grammy loves you so much.
