The project master
Today I want to post about my hard working hubby. Tom has been a hard working guy since I met him. He is always proactive when it comes to keeping our house up to snuff. Handy would be a good word to describe him. I cannot begin to count up the money he has saved us over the years by doing projects by himself. (Thousands of dollars $$$$$ for sure.) Those of you who have had the privilege of working with him on a project might think he is a little crazy.( And there are many of you who have been the recipient of his help.) That's just how he rolls. He works hard and he works fast. Most cannot keep up with him. I don't try to keep up with him, I flee lickity split. Over the years when a lot of these projects were being done I learned to head out the door and find the nearest store to spend time away, shopping or whatever just to not have to listen to the yells coming out my loving husband!!! I don't know why he does it but I guess it helps him work through the problems that accompany most jobs. It just so happens if I am there and can hear it, I feel it is directed towards me. ( When I am sure it really isn't. ) I just have thin skin...hmmmm sensitive you know?
All this to say I really don't know what I would do without Tom. I appreciate all that he does to make our home nice.
His latest project is one he has procrastinated with for several years. I cannot tell you how many times I heard him say " I really need to work on our shed and replace those doors and paint it. The doors are going to fall off one day." Well he would never do anything about it. Whether it was more pressing things that needed attending to,bad weather, or just no money right then. It was put on hold. Well no more. He finally made up his mind to do it. And it looks great. Thanks Tom! I love our new looking shed.
The finished project!!!
